We’re Gregory and Sharon Mills—two lifelong educators with a combined 45 years of experience in shaping minds and building futures. Education has been our passion and our profession, but as we look ahead to retirement, we’re facing a reality that many others do too: we can’t afford to maintain the lifestyle we’ve grown accustomed to here at home.

So, we’ve decided to turn the page and begin a new chapter. Our mission? To find a country where we can live comfortably, safely, and meaningfully during retirement. We’re exploring destinations through the lens of what truly matters: affordable cost of living, low crime rates, good weather, racial inclusivity, access to quality healthcare, ease of obtaining visas, stable infrastructure and currency, housing availability, and—above all—a welcoming, vibrant community.
