About This Site

The purpose of our site is to share our path to retiring without being a burden on our children. This is not to say that this is best way to reach your goal. This was OUR way. We will try our best to answer questions and give you the “real” ups and downs in this process. Again, this is not a “one- size- fits- all” instructional guide. However, this site will give you a starting point and things to consider when coming to the conclusion of “Oh s**t!!! I’m getting old and I don’t know if I can afford to take care of myself for the rest of my life, and I don’t want to work until I’m dead!”
